eutektiks:
This is something that usually comes up in my conversations with underclassmen.
From my personal experience, I have committed about one year and a half in a stem cell engineering lab at my school and have participated in a summer research program in a neurology lab. Although I found that a…

Thanks guys!
Apparently a lot of people are curious about a whole range of molecules haha. Don’t worry I’ll answer all of them in order.
I also found out a few days ago that I’ve been nominated by my department for TA of the year! I’ll find in March if I won, but just to be nominated is a huge honor in itself. Its really awesome to know that you truly had an impact on the class.
Dear Followers...
If you guys have any requests for “Molecule of the Day”, send them in :D!

Best music to grade to?
Hans Zimmer, John Williams, and Howard Shore. Any one of these composers will make you life 1000x more epic just by listening to then. Trust me, I’m a scientist.

pastellieria asked: Hi, I'm planning on being a biochem major in college. I'm currently taking the intro O Chem class that my high school offers, and I love it! Anyways, I really enjoy your blog. I can never have too much science on my dash! :D
Dear Tumblr Users:
Yellow text on a white background is a terrible idea.
Sincerely,
Someone who can’t read it to save his life.

covalentlybonding asked: LOVE YOUR BLOG. It's so simple, laughable, yet informative. I want to become a chemical engineer when I get into college but I'm already jammed packed with all the AP science classes I've been taking. So when I read your blogs, it just makes my day a little brighter. I hope whatever you are doing, you become successful in it!
Really sorry for the lack of updates guys. This week has been super hectic for me. Nothing like working on a lab report at the last minute right?

You the know quickest way to annoy a TA?
Don’t staple your homework together. Seriously, don’t turn in a stack of random unstapled papers. I do not want to worry about figuring out which piece of paper is yours.
misterstranger asked: Not really a question, but I have to say that I LOVE "Molecule of the Day!" God, I have odd hobbies...

That moment when...
You realize that the equipment you are using in lab is worth more than four years of tuition aka worth more than your life.
