Woops! My bad, I was looking for pictures of particle collisions and this one seemed quite interesting. Thanks for the heads up! avarielle: chemta: 100 followers! Knew there were some chemistry geeks on tumblr! Event hough the picture isn’t about chemistry (its two gold nuclei colliding in the LHC) I still think it looks cool haha. Yay science! Actually. the picture is of gold nuclei colliding inside the RHIC (Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider, not the LHC.
